Well, basically it boils down to what I said on plurk earlier today, but I'll say it again: he makes her so happy and it's incredibly good for her to spend time with someone that she likes and who so obviously and openly likes her back and it takes away a large part of her angst and just allows her to be happier and — yes, basically, that's really it, though. He makes her genuinely happy.
Ivy on Penny Ivy isn't annoyed by Penny at all; she thinks Penny is a very kind and nice person and she wishes she could allow Penny to care for her rather than having to reject that time and again because she needs to be emotionally distant.
