Ivy confuses Pig. Which--well, a lot of things confuse Pig but honestly, Ivy just kind of locks Pig's brain into whaaaaaat. She's tiny, but smart--and the fact that she's not really human(ish) hasn't crossed Pig's brain.
It's not that Ivy scares him, it's more than Pig is well aware she's not what she seems and that really bothers him. Especially since he thinks in such a one-track way and Ivy has two aspects of her--the child and the archive.
