((OOC: Also leeet's just say she has her memories for now even though she doesn't in game, because it would be too sad to play that out twice ;; ))

[Saya's restless at the best of times, always moving, never content to be silent and still. Making up for the years lost to sleep, perhaps. But rarely is it pronounced enough that she's anything like showy. Enough to be, say, jumping across rooftops as she's doing now.]

[Intuition told her to turn left three buildings back, and when the flash of black catches her eye (black hair, dark clothes, that combination always makes her look twice) and she leaps down to meet it. As much as being disappointed each time until now has her warning herself not to hope, it's for naught and needless besides. There's no mistaking her Chevalier.]

Haji. [He might be the only thing in the world that could get her over-energized body to remain in place, for now. Aside from her fidgeting she's suddenly calmer, ripples over still water rather than the rolling waves of a moment ago.]

[She's been waiting a long time for him.]

[It takes time to search out Saya in paticular. This place has many beings and many auras to it, different and many unhuman. What once made Chiropteran easy to find put them in a new pool of different.

But Haji knows her better than anyone, knows Saya because he is hers, to live and to serve her with every beat of his heart. This he has not forgotten, and it was with that, and with knowing her as he did, that he seeks to follow her, to look for her.

She flashes across the rooftops, and then as he recognizes her and his spirit lifts, so does she. He does not know how she ended up here, how long she has been awake, but right now, so long as she is intact in body and mind, it doesn't matter.]

Saya. [Breathed out, and he moves forward to meet her, to come closer.]

[There's much she could say, has wanted him to know. How strange it's been for her here, surrounded by Diva and her henchmen. The friendships she's built that were never fully whole since part of her attention always lie with what she was missing. Until now.]

[Saya's excess of energy might make her seem nervous but her eyes are steady, certain. Accepting, as she matches his approach step for step.] I hoped you'd come. [Her edgy nerves itch to move more, close that distance completely. Her mind is unsettled and atypically honest (the curse, of course, she knows that much, but not all for that) and so, after an interlude in which she seems to throw off whatever reservations might otherwise hold her back, she does. Reaching out, seeking less an embrace than just simple touch, some sign that he's more than just her hopes given fleeting form.]

[Her words wash over him and there is guilt in his heart. She had been awaken early and this time, he had not even been there for it to give her what she needed, to take care of her and protect her at her most vulnerable.]

Always. [The words are both a reassurance to her and himself, that he would always find her no matter what. When Saya reaches out for him, Haji steps forward again and lets his hand catch her own. Proving that as much as she is real to him, so is he to her.

No matter what Diva and the others had told her, what strangeness he was about to face when it came to them or this place, he would protect her.]

[Always. Even had he not spoken aloud the gesture conveyed it effortlessly, giving her in less than a moment what months here had failed to.]

[She can't, however, savor the moment as she might like. Her boundless energy surges, recompense demanded for the hushed lull of re-meeting Haji. Her Haji.]

Let's look around. I'll show you the place where I woke up. [Fluttery laughter bubbling up, Saya tugs at his hand and gestures skyward. She's too wound up to settle for anything so mundane as walking and for once lacks her usual disquiet about the abilities which make her other-than-human.]

[His smile is so small and gone so quick that it might not of even been there in the first place. That look she gives him, that laugh makes him already feel somewhat forgiven, for at least being here now. Last time, she had needed to come to terms with his help and roughly, forced into fighting before she was ready. Even if Diva was here, it seemed that none of that had occurred.

So long as Diva does not start anything, perhaps they can live in a wary side by side way. Who knew.

Haji nods, moving to jump up as she did, only letting go of her hand at the last moment to make the leaps and bounds she did. Following, as always, to wherever she may lead. His intrest is perked, however, because of what she had said, that Saya had woken up here. Was she not at the gravesite when she fell asleep?]

[The City works strangely enough that Saya doesn't consider where she was last; everyone else who arrives seems in the same boat. Her demeanor, too, is more a factor of her experiences here than her past, having been awakened and tended to by a boy who is free with word and touch. That light has dimmed somewhat as he memories returned, but sparked again with today's curse. Saya's reserved personality is stretched thin, leaving all her barriers easily breached.]

[Saya's hyper-energized state makes quick work of the buildings and soon enough she leads Haji into the park, Xanadu. It's the zoo she's headed for, the tropical rainforest area where she was found her fresh from her cocoon, memory-less and new. There are fantastical animals and flora along the way, which she spares a glance.]

This is the place. [The tree is huge, thick in the trunk and with strong branches. Saya touches it with careful fingertips, as if she fears toppling it.] Setsuna found me here.
