• Start a thread with your test drive character! You know the drill, just mark the character's name and canon in the comment subject, and/or...



• Tag around to other people's threads! Play it like your character has just arrived in the City, as if you've already met, or...



• Pick from the list below - or use an RNG if you prefer - to hit a character with one of the City's curses! Is one character cursed? Both? Are they cursed with the same or different curses? That's all up to you!

Fortunately they're both dressed, right?

He does notice the tattoos and designs and twitches, almost imperceptibly. For himself, he's a bit scrawny for someone his size, the underfed look of someone who's missed quite a few meals for quite a few years. He also has silver flecks in his eyes and the barest hint of silver streaks in his hair. It's silver not gray. Other than that he looks perfectly normal, though his clothes are a wee bit too big for him.

"Oh. Lovely." He gives them an experimental tug. "I'm Eric."

Yes. Yes, they are. Kat's in her typical short shorts and a plain white t-shirt. Her normal lavender and orange hoodie is slung over the back of her bedroom door and her boots sit just by that. She's barefoot, but that's as bare as the girl is right now.

Her brunette hair sticks up slightly more than the usual short and jagged a-line bob typically does and Kat runs fingers through it, trying to tame it some.

"It's nice to meet you, Eric. Even if the circumstances aren't our own choice." A pause. Oh. Oh, that sounded...off. "Not that I'd ever choose to handcuff myself to someone."

"Some people like it," Eric says offhandedly. He's not indicating himself, but there are people he knew that did.

He sniffs the air, fingers twitching nervously. She feels magical. No. No. He didn't need that.

Taking a deep, steadying breath, he continued. "It is nice to meet you as well."

Kat smiles, bringing her knees up to rest her chin on them. There's another moment of her running her fingers through her hair, watching Eric.

"Are you alright?"
