[She pauses, glancing up towards the sky as she considers this. Humans, back home, don't have starships. Not anyone who isn't the Justice League, anyway. She taps her finger against her chin and then springs to her feet.

Wide, green eyes bear down on him as she takes a step backwards. ]

In my world, humans do not have starships that can go very far. But, I did not mean starships at all. I meant, do you like to fly?

[To emphasize her point, she floats just a little off the ground. ]

[ Joining her on his feet, Jim has to reassert his grip on his jacket; no, fuck that, he tugs it on so his hands are free, reaching one out to her. ]

I can't do that, even if I'd like to. How are you ... ?

[fiamme]

[Brushing her fingers against his, she grips onto his hand (trying, as an afterthought, to mind her own strength). ]

It is biological. This sun and Earth's sun grants my people the power of flight.

[ He has the irrational fear she'll float way like a balloon, stretching up with a laugh to curl his fingers around hers and keep Kori tethered. ]

I don't mind admitting I'm jealous.

[Logic. But, she touches back down on ground. ]

Not sure how dignified that'd look, but thanks for the offer. I should probably pull the proper introductions out, since you know I have a ship now.

[ And she gets a squeeze to her hand before he lets go. ]

[ A playful smirk lingers. ]

[Is she joking we just don't know. ]

I'll hold off for now, then. Saving it for a rainy day.
