Poly, Poly, Poly.

I'm Toss Tossino and I dropped about a year before endgame because I'd run out of steam for the game. At that point I had been playing Merlin here in the game for a little over a year!

His life is a very depressing thing: He went back to Arthur being dead and prepared to wait however long it would take for Albion/England/the UK/whatever to need Arthur again so he'd resurrect. So implied is MERLIN IS BASICALLY IMMORTAL. Fun times. According to my headcanon he moves back to his mummy in Ealdor at least for some time before he returns to Camelot, but I kinda like to think that he doesn't return at all. :') He spends his life not all that happy - though he tries - until Charlie finds him and they carry on life together.

I'm not really playing him at the moment, but I'm always happy to dust him off. My musebox is rabbitonthemoon so feel free to pop in if you feel like it.

As for me, I'm burrowing down in Doctor Who right now. A lot. It's the obsession that followed after Merlin. I'm currently playing in asgardeventide, savetheearth and maisondeportes. I've been studying creative writing for a year, and am at the moment enjoying an especially long summer vacation before I head off to Japan for a year iiinn exactly one month and four days, counting today. (Help.)

Molly here, friends. Boy howdy. How has it been six months? How? I feel like it's been forever. Aughhhhhh.

Dr. House went back to NJ and PPTH and lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. He and Wilson are in their rad frat style bromance for eternity. Gimme a moment. Sniff!

Mr. White current lives in fabulous MEXICO~! He and Mr. Orange are enjoying the tacos and the scenery in a beautiful rancho. Maybe they'll return to the states someday. Maybe.

Mr. Roman Godfrey returned to Hemlock Grove and had a pretty horrible year canonly. (SPOILERS IN THE LINK!!) Right now he is in Teleios and thankfully dodging the bullet that is season 2 for now.

For anyone that didn't know, I graduated Kosher Culinary school like one and a half years ago and have yet to hold down a steady job, but I've got a lot of part-time stuff? Which is awesome. I have been doing some casual roleplaying on casual sites (Homestuck-related, haha), but nothing like what we had in Poly. I also have to prevent myself from capitalizing the word City when referring to Manhattan to this very day.

I had Curt at Marina briefly (although a new version, not the Poly one), and Alester (a revised version) is at Throne of Shadows (dagaz). Plus I played Sparrow there briefly. I miss playing Curt but I don't know if I can handle another game (especially any game with stricter requirements than 'be active every month') or even another character. I'm on Plurk as squeakygeeky, please friend me I like plurk a lot although sadly it doesn't work right on the campus network.

The non-rp things I've been up to include submitting a research article for publication, handing in my dissertation proposal, and writing a very silly romance story about a haunted phone that I really need to finish and revise.

So one of the things that always kind of amuses me about my RP life at Poly is the fact that Rosella was actually not my first character here, despite her being undoubtedly my longest (and probably most prolific)--I actually arrived in December of '07, in under the wire before apps closed for the end of the year and the big Stewards Plot, with Proto Man (proto_typing) from the Ruby-Spears Mega Man cartoon.

Rosella (primrosella) showed up in August of '08 and carried on rocking until March of '14: when she left the City, she was twenty-one days shy of turning...twenty-three? The math is escaping me right now. Suffice to say, she was here a really long time, particularly when you take into consideration that she arrived when she was seventeen, about to turn eighteen.

After her, I had Rudy Miller (formerly at prefers_chess, currently at deadpanned), the twelve-year-old Canadian wonder from 1981, who I kept for about a year and a half before he escaped back home during a Summer Camp AU curse, because I couldn't pass up a canon-level finale like that for a character ever.

I also played The Incomparable Finnick Odair (formerly at protects_her, currently at killerstyle) in the game's magnificent Hunger Games cast, and he likewise stuck around for about a year and change.

Aside from them, my perpetual fourth-wallers were Death (and_immortality) and Life (and_identity), who I never could've sustained on a daily basis in the game but somehow managed to become recurring guest-stars anyway, a thing for which I consider myself incredibly lucky.

As for what they all did post-Poly:

Death and Life came back for the last hurrah to conduct their friends (as promised) on to their next lives, wherever that might be; Finnick bossed back out of the afterlife long enough to run off to Narnia with Queen Lucy Pevensie, where he remains a most contented ghost courtesy of Aslan; Rudy escaped home to summer camp, remained friends with Mike forever, and went on to conquer the world, presumably.

Prior to her departure, Rosella got married (!!!), went back home to her family and twin brother, lived through the events of King's Quest V and VI, but her time in Poly successfully derailed the events of King's Quest VII on the grounds that Queen Valanice had no real grounds to insist that Rosella stop screwing around with her life and settle down to get married when she...y'know, already was.

AND THEN SHE JUST KIND OF WAITED AROUND FOR HER DEADBEAT HUSBAND TO GET HIS ACT TOGETHER AND SHOW UP TO LIVE OUT THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER, C'MON CAIN.
