♛ Cain Hargreaves || Godchild ||
The most delightful Byronic hero you may ever meet. Collects poisons for a hobby. Has a butler, Riff, to whom he is very devoted (see: subtext). All kinds of Victorian and Gothic and EGA-before-it-was-cool. Enjoys dinner parties, grand balls, dances, the company of charming ladies, solving murder mysteries, and revenge. Periodically vows to murder his father. Gets antagonized by his usual set of enemies (see: Alexis Hargreaves, Jezebel Disraeli, Cassian, et. al.). Is charming and something of a player. Has very lovely green-gold-green eyes. Possibly associated closely with a certain princess.
♞ The Man With No Name || "The Dollars Trilogy" ||
Has gun, will travel. Lacks a name, but makes up for it with more nicknames than average. Drinks, smokes, has stubble, shoots things. Laconic to a fault. Mischievous troublemaker. Total badass. Looks just like that guy from some movies--what's his name--Clint Eastwood. Has a horse (apparently named Horse; sometimes a traitor). Makes a living as he can: bounty hunting, gang warfare, staring contests for cash prizes. You know you want to hang out with this cool guy. Caution: you must be this macho to rock a poncho.
♜ Katan || Angel Sanctuary ||
Rosiel's Coat Racktm. Third-ranked Cherub in Heaven (Angel Sanctuary's heaven, that is). Loyal to Rosiel. Serves Rosiel. Defers to Rosiel. Follows Rosiel. Follows Rosiel's orders. Saves Rosiel. Holds Rosiel's coat when necessary (often). Rosiel, Rosiel, Rosiel. Was formerly a bodiless Grigori given a physical body by Rosiel (oh, that explains a lot), devoted himself to his military studies to be reunited with Rosiel. And the story goes on from there. Actually kind-hearted, compassionate, and gentle; loves human beings and angels alike (maybe demons too--?). Actually a total woobie.

also -- once he finds her a horse of her own (for whatever reason), they're going riding. we're making it happen. :|

We're totally making it happen. I will come up with a reason for there to be extra horses. (You can find anything in the City, after all. And I do like to imagine the Cowboy Conclave up there in the NE corner of the City, near the Wilderness and the Barn...)

(A cross-fandom aside: every time I see one of Ken's network entries, it's always titled "[X] Dark Towers Destroyed," right? And it always makes me do a doubletake because I'm knee deep in The Dark Tower series and am rapidly becoming an unapologetic Tower junkie. So I'm always like, "Wait, wha--? Oh, wait, false alarm." .../awkward cough)

(We're pretty even there, in a way, as I keep seeing Rosiel to Katan as (Digimon Kaiser)Ken to Wormmon, which is part of why I want to throw Ken at Katan. And you make me laugh. That series was recommended by another friend of mine, come to think of it....)

(Oh good. I'm glad it's, um, sorta mutual? Either way--throw him, throw him, throw him! ...yeah, that series is dangerous. Consider this your one and only warning. It goes up and down. Bits are good, bits are completely fucking terrible. You read like mad for a while and then run across something and then slam the book shut and growl and throw it across the room and declare it the worst book you've ever read and you leave it there and then come back two hours later chanting "You son of a bitch" and pick it up and start reading again. I think "You son of a bitch" is, like, the secret unspoken chorus of the entire thing. It's complicated... Or, well, that's been my experience with it, at least... )

(lol, that sounds like my relationship with the Wheel of Time books, so I'm accustomed to this. Those sorts of book affairs can be fun, in a tormenting way.)

Yes.
We should figure out something. Like... idk, Cain recognizing his voice.
no subject
Actually--that is an interesting way to go about it. That would be the one thing Cain could recognize. Hmmm...

We will also try to say hello to Cain sometimes too... since he and Carla share an unfortunate affectionate for a blonde princess.

Yes, please. Cain's aware that Rosella had a set of rather unusual houseguests for a time. So, yeah! Say hello. I'd be glad of it.
