It probably will not come as a surprise that Ariadne wanted to punch Percy in the face when they first met. She wasn't lying and Percy was so convinced that she was and it really pissed her off. That said, she now understands where he's coming from, and she's glad he told her because she wouldn't have found out until after Fred disappeared otherwise. Up until recently they've still had a fairly awkward dance-around-because-lol-first-meeting relationship, but Ariadne is at least willing to try and make things less awkward because it was a misunderstanding and because she cares for his siblings -- plus they work together. Then she got to see him as a child and the Way He Is made a little more sense, in a way... and he was precious. If they don't completely close themselves off from everyone after the twins disappear, I think there's a good opportunity for them to get closer.
