Saya is sort of a constant presence in Eames' environment and mind. He wants to know if she has any sort of special gift that put Orange and White on edge, thinks she's a little strange in general, but at the same time feels not perhaps trust but a sense of one-on-one comraderie between the two of them. He also enjoys the gifts and the fact that she gives him a steady work and income, even if it's a bit boring compared to what he's used to and he is seeking to branch out now that he's back on his feet. She's generous with him on some things and he finds that surprising because of how much she loves and takes care of her cars, so for her to lend them out to him feels like a big deal to him. She's awkward and quirky and he loves that, really enjoys studying her and even just watching her move across the room in her heels, while at the same time being surprised whenever she calls him out or something or at her ability to assess people. She's sort of a matter of constant elation? So he never gets bored with interacting with her, and genuinely does actually like her beyond all that, too.
