Carla & Pig

She was watching Pig from the beginning because she has a really bizarre sort of... not-quite-a-thing for Raymond, so... whenever a Cillian face shows up it draws her attention and she watches it. Carla isn't as... analytically perceptive as she used to be, that's really just a fact, but with Pig in particular she really felt like she got a clear picture of him because of the things he has in common with her; which is the sort of... unstable, animal side of things. She thinks he's dangerous and being the sort of crazy she is, she finds that helplessly fascinating and wants to watch.

But... more importantly? She pities him so much. She can't even really bring herself to be cruel to him because he is just so pathetic in her eyes. She doesn't have high opinions of love, and his world is just so dominated by that fairy tale he's crafted for himself. It's disgusting, mainly but... she did something similar to herself to make the world tolerable when she was dead.

If she knew that Runt kills him (the monster she helped make) Carla would be... so painfully jealous.

I'm not sure what she's going to do with these feelings just yet, but she certainly has her ear for him. Whatever that ends up meaning.
