But seriously, she likes Penny. It's a fairly superficial bond for her at the moment though she did very much appreciate Penny trying to help her with her love troubles. She appreciates everything Penny does for her and everyone else. Euphie has a way of being warm, helpful, friendly, and yet still distant that she in no way means to do, but also doesn't know how to not do. It's the people who are hurting or the people who throw her off guard who tend to get in deeper and Penny isn't one of those people. However, she does live with her and that slowly wears away the walls that go up so naturally for the princess.

And hey, superficial bonds are Penny's specialty! She and Euphie both act so well-adjusted and seem to have such deeply ingrained senses of MUST FIX ALL OF THE PEOPLE that it's almost impossible to imagine them stopping and bonding over something meaningful.
