The Character Relationship TLDR Meme*
1. Comment with a list of your characters!
2. Go forth and ask other players what their character's opinions are of your characters, their relationship, so on, so forth!
3. TLDR to your heart's content!
*yes I know it's plain, forgive me!

I guess I will start from the beginning by saying "It's all his fault." He made that damn comment about being an artists with a scalpel and she really did take it as a challenge, although she really didn't quite notice herself getting closer to him until... Probably the bird showed up. So. The first time she punched him, which is a long time after they played that stupid game in his office. Because this is a functioning relationship, goddamnit.
I think that's when they started going out to eat in the mornings. Which would only intensify her appreciation for his company. She likes talking to him when he isn't hurting her, he does make her laugh frequently and she has some respect for his brain, although that's not total because he is a good boy at heart and that's pathetic and she wishes he would get over it.
Part of it was... he got into that fight with Frankie that weekend too, and she really wanted the chance to put her mouth all over his bruises, which is a more focused reaction than she gives to just anyone. And it's all gone downhill from there and he plays with her emotions almost as badly as Saya does sometimes. In the end, that's really why she... wishes he would have gotten over himself and fucked her. She's half-deluded herself into believe that if he had they could be over with and done, the curiosity and expectancy would be taken care of. So she's a.) angry at herself for wanting that to be true because it's pathetic b.) frustrated that it isn't true c.) angry at him for existing/making this a thing.
She knows he can't give her what she really needs although he sometimes approximates it and I am amazed she hasn't accidentally called him Barbet yet. She hates him for trying because he keeps winning over the stupid animal side of her head, and she wishes he would just accept that she's messed up for good and hate her back. He saw her behavior in the desert and had the perfect opportunity, but he didn't and she's waiting for that shoe to drop. She also hates her teenage-self for suggesting Chase uses her as a distraction because now she can't get it out of her head and can't seem to make herself accept anything he does, but will eventually reach a point where she accepts that she uses him for exactly the same thing (even though it isn't true, which causes her further self-disgust) and try to bury her feelings beneath a heaping great dose of apathy.
In short. She's gotten exactly what she wanted aka "Everybody Gets Hurt No Matter What Now"
