Lucy adores Stephen so very much. He's her buddy and this person she can count on no matter what. He's the person that knows she's batshit insane but loves her in spite of it and she needs that so very much.
Rose thinks Howl is so cool. He does real magic and he does bad ass magic. He's almost amusing so there's that.She definitely wants to get to know him better.
