The Character Relationship TLDR Meme*

1. Comment with a list of your characters!
2. Go forth and ask other players what their character's opinions are of your characters, their relationship, so on, so forth!
3. TLDR to your heart's content!

*yes I know it's plain, forgive me!

Ugh, this is so obscenely long. WHY DO YOU HAVE THREE CHARACTERS IN ONE. In order of tl;dr—

L I N D

Lind worries him. At the same time, though, Lind feels like the only sharkling he can trust right now—not in the teammate-fellow-feeling way, but it's very ... honest. Lind mocks him, would raze him down in a heartbeat if he felt like it, is keeping Kazu around because he's got a use for him, and Kazu isn't completely unfamiliar with the idea of being used. The idea isn't something that actually puts him off unless he likes the other person, which isn't a worry here! In this case, it's a meeting of interests—Lind wants to look out for the sharks, and Kazu does too, insofar as he feels he ever can. He'll deal with the rest as it comes up.

A K I T O

At its most basic—Kazu likes Akito! They never had much time together before the City, but he's gotten used to having him around. He accepts that Akito tops him, likes his sweetness and his weird penchants for cleaning and floral scents, and in general just gets along with him. AND THEN ON THE FURTHER HAND, he's... been getting kind of wary about Akito's feelings for Ikki, less because of the homo aspect than because it's. Kind of getting Akito hurt. They had a couple conversations before Ikki arrived where Akito sank into depression fits over it a few times and Kazu couldn't snap him out of it, and there's not even a doubt in his mind that Ikki's never going to like him back. And he doesn't know what that's going to do to Akito! This doesn't come up for him so much anymore now that Ikki's here, BUT HE HAS THOUGHT ABOUT AKITO'S HOMO RELATIONS, OKAY. AS MUCH AS IT HURT HIM IN HIS SOUL TO DO IT. What the hell, this ain't a shoujo.

Anyway—that's relevant because it just clicked for Kazu that there might be a connection between Simca's arrival and Akito's moving out. IT GENUINELY HADN'T OCCURRED TO HIM largely because of the timing with Akira's death. While Kazu... doesn't exactly want to talk about it, it's something he's kind of keeping an eye on Akito about. Akito's a friend too, after all, and he kind of wants to make sure he's okay.

A G I T O

Sllllightly complicated at the moment! I mean, we have the baseline, which is that they've been in the City for three months shy of a year together, alone for several of those months and Kazu's grown sort of... used to backing Agito up. He trusts Agito to be the one with a strategy he can fall in line with, tries not to push boundaries past what Agito's willing to allow and overall likes him just fine on a daily basis, abuse and tsun and general bitchiness notwithstanding. In 90% of serious situations, Kazu's willing to default to his judgment because Agito's the battle genius. Agito's very much one of those people for whom Kazu would shank first and ask questions later if it ever came up. It's also worth noting that Agito's somebody he'll never pull a mercy kill on ever again, no matter the curse, just because, after that time with the slugs in the desert, Agito told him not to. HE STILL FEELS BAD ABOUT THAT.

So finding out from Lind that he'd lied was kind of... a crack in all of that. It actually doesn't change any of his actual feelings—because, as he said in the desert, he's pretty sure that Agito doesn't value him all that strongly. But it creates the... awareness (?) that Agito doesn't necessarily trust him back in the same way. It's really not something he's been worried about since, oh, before they confronted Behemoth—not that he thinks Agito's likely to sell out the team anymore, but it's an acknowledgment that team values aren't absolute. This is something that's preying on his mind a little, but he wants to hold off on talking about it until after July 27th, where he plans to be like, yeah, see, you were keeping this on the downlow for nothing, next time, share your goddamn deity prices, you idiot. And. Yes. ... :'D;;;

... yeah, I'm never writing a relationship meme for you again.
