I love this idea of Neil going back to Daventry with her ;_; and then they figure out how to hop between universes and collect everyone they miss and they all live happily ever after forever and ever and ever.

YES I DO I am always tl;dr, we know this.

I would also laugh really hard because at this point Rosella's brother is currently rather Todd-like in his disposition (reserved, shy, doesn't talk much, wicked smart but keeps to himself) and Rosella would just be like HAAAAAAAVE YOU MET NEIL? and walk away with the confidence that in like two weeks he would be cheerful and outgoing.

I have entirely too much headcanon explaining exactly how they would do precisely that, I am just saying.

I am just imagining him meeting the leprechauns, oh my god.

They leave them alone together for like ten seconds and suddenly SPONTANEOUS JIG IN THE THRONE ROOM and everyone is dancing wildly and Rosella comes back and is like WHAT HAPPENED and Neil is in the middle of the whirlwind of frenetic activity like I DON'T KNOW BUT I THINK I LIKE IT and the leprechauns are like WOOOOOOOO DANCE PARTY.

Because that is what the leprechauns are like in canon.

Rosella's questions have to wait until she's been dragged into the middle of the dance, obviously.

Hey, she learned to jig from the king of the leprechauns. Back when she was five and they were the same height. :D

Eventually they figure out how to bring Todd to Daventry, and he finds Neil, I don't know, directing plays full of fairy tale creatures and dancing with wood nymphs all night. And on a first-name basis with everyone and everything in sight.

And Neil is completely desensitized to the idea of not going in certain areas of the countryside because that's where sorcerers hang out and being careful when you swim lest you get eaten by a whale and wanting to go visit the leprechauns so you gotta jump around in this open field for a while until a friendly condor comes down and picks you up and carries you over thataway.

And Todd is just like ..........what.

She'll have to land them some sort of minor titles, and then they can have a gorgeous manor house off in the country and train actors and be patrons of the arts and support all the poets ever and Rosella can come stay with them when the bustle of life in the castle gets on her nerves and they can feast and live joyously.

HAHAHAHA she should take them back to Tamir and go find Frankie of Avalon (this guy she meets in the woods who is godawful terrible at playing the lute, so she gives him a book of Shakespeare just to get him to stop playing and then he's like I WILL BE AN ACTOR!! and she promptly discovers that he sucks at that, too...) and be like HERE. ACTORS. GO GO GO.

Also because Pan lives in the Tamir woods and surely that would be just a rollicking good time all around.
