Carla & Isabela

So. I generally just accept that Carla sleeps with more NPCs than I can keep up with, but most of them are disposable like tissues and it's the player characters with actual personalities who are going to hold her attention best. With that said, I super wasn't entirely joking when I said she was in need of more women. Carla's lack of discrimination is a big part of her personality, and as such so is her appreciation of both the genders and thus far she has a pair of virgin princesses and Saya in her ladyfriend corner. Probably because men are easier to manipulate and they find her viciousness and lack of typical feminine tropes fascinating.

As such, any women she brings into her circle are respected and valued more than the men. It's not really how she *wants* things to be, it's just how things end up because she can't control the system that people are raised in, although she does occasionally try to enlighten them to its existence (See: Estelle) With *that* said, she thusly appreciates Isabela's give no fucks attitude about said gender binary.

Another thing I was really not entirely kidding about was that she has been in desperate need of another strong female presence that isn't Saya. I am just going to link some things about Carla's relationship with her, rather than make this more tl;dr so: on this meme/from Saya's end, and the hmd if you're interested.

Also, Blonde gets grumpy about her growing attached to other men. She is peripherally aware of this... but it doesn't stop her because she hates the idea of belonging to him in that way. Having someone like Isabela instead who a.) Is not another man b.) Not someone who is going to engage in messy emotional entanglements (see: Chase) is kind of the ideal compromise in the scenario.

So that was a really tl;dr explanation of 'Carla likes her, a lot.'

WELL HELL YES THEY CAN BE AWESOME GIRL BUDDIES. Isabela is always happy to serve... she likes the ladycorner. Especially if that ladycorner comes with certain benefits. Like sex.
