Hallo, Merlin.

I think the biggest thing that Anna got from her conversation with Merlin was the... sense that he knows more than he lets on? Not about her, precisely, but... That he's very used to biting his tongue and sort of double-speaking about things? Anna isn't at her best mentally, so she would definitely be hard-pressed to defend that point, but it was definitely a feeling that she got. She doesn't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, or what, but she is sort of curious about him and not opposed to talking to him again. She's not really in a position to be refusing any company, but her ranks a bit more highly than the ambivalence she feels for most.

She isn't empathic in a preternatural way, but she does... tend to pick up things about people. Which is honestly why it was such an enormous and painful shock to her that the people who had tortured Lucie/would torture her had such an impeccable facade of normalcy.

As for late tags, I am quite amiable to them in general, and especially with Anna the way she is currently and not really getting around much.
