It's weird because Pig understands on some level that Carla knows his plight but it's still not registering. He likes Carla the most out of anyone he's met here, at least, and feels drawn to her. It's a big pit of confusing feelings because where other people have told him explicitly he's doing things wrong, he's violent, etc, Carla doesn't. She doesn't encourage it, either, but Pig understands at least that she's closest to an ally he's probably ever going to get.
She's pretty, and if Pig wasn't starry-eyed over Runt/so fixated on her his affections would honestly probably travel over to Carla. But right now he's just watching her uneasily. He's not sure what to do with people that don't tell him he's doing wrong things. It makes him wary.
