Honestly? At this point Hatter and Karl have one of the least complicated relationships in the City. He likes her a good deal, he enjoys that she's game for anything, but he also doesn't trust her, (which is perfectly acceptable when you take into account their canons.) They're both similar in a lot of ways, with hopelessly distorted self-images, but while Karl is motivated by love and in seeking some form of reciprocity from both his Queens, Hatter expresses an aversion for it. This confuses him, but he's prepared to adopt the To Each His Own mindset and accept her quirks for what they are. While it isn't strictly a casual relationship -- they've ended up revealing a good deal to each other about their motivations and weaknesses, inadvertently or willingly -- it's not particularly heavy either. They both owe allegiances to different masters, but cheerfully agree there's happiness(?) in slavery, and enjoy spreading havoc together the way good demons and vampires should. Granted, Hatter is more skillful at subtlety and weaving webs, whereas Karl goes for the good old-fashioned smash and bash, but it's at the end result that they intersect -- the chaos and strife, and it's always lovely to compare and contrast two variations of the same theme ♥
Hei:
OMG EW GROSS GET AWAY UGH!!!
....Well, no, that's not it. In all practicality, Hei classifies Hatter as a low-level threat. In many ways her modus operandi is not too different from his. They both function by manipulating people through their wants and vices. In different circumstances, they might've had an effective business relationship. But Hatter creeeeeeps on Hei, and the intrusiveness is an automatic turn-off. He doesn't particularly consider Hatter to be a woman, much less find anything appealing about her, beyond the usefulness she might have as a potential chess piece on his board. But he's aware her allegiances are to Kira. That's a tactical advantage, since if he ever needs to hit Bel where it hurts, he can go straight for the teenage boy -- directly or indirectly. So far though, it hasn't come to that. Beyond contempt and occasional doses of annoyance, he's largely indifferent to her. Like with Carla, he finds her promiscuity to be a touch distasteful, not because of moral or puritanical reasons (wouldn't that be a riot? xD), but simply because sex with every shlub that crosses your path is physically lousy. In terms of strategics, he understands liaisons to pry secrets from an enemy -- he's done that to enough marks and fellow Contractors. But someone who bed-hops as much as Hatter, for no practical gain is likely pathologically unhinged -- and Hei steers clear of those types.
That said, he's privately startled by Hatter's treatment of July -- but until he's sure it's as sincere as it seems, he'll be keeping an eye on her >:3
