• Start a thread with your test drive character! You know the drill, just mark the character's name and canon in the comment subject, and/or...



• Tag around to other people's threads! Play it like your character has just arrived in the City, as if you've already met, or...



• Pick from the list below - or use an RNG if you prefer - to hit a character with one of the City's curses! Is one character cursed? Both? Are they cursed with the same or different curses? That's all up to you!

Curse 1, and this is so awful, but I'm attracted to awful

[It's not like he wanted to do this, but when he got too close to the newcomer, Setsuna's mouth opened thoughtlessly like it always did.]

Tall, dark and handsome. I'm not normally this lucky. Wanna come back to my apartment? [Cue slapping his hand over his mouth. And more muffled words.] What the fuck was that?

[And if he knew this guy's relation to Saya...forget it. He'd fly off, mortified.]

[Wat. First there is this whole nonsense in showing up in this strange place, with auras of people running around that Haji is more than sure are dead (Yet, thankfully, he has not run into them.) But now this...

This is just strange.]

No. [A short and firm word, but polite as possible in Haji's current situation. Even with his usually hard to read face, the hints of stress and the want for answers for the usual newcomer questions might be easy to pick up on.]

Setsuna can babble more than enough for them both, no worries

[A look of absolute horror crosses his face. He was new once, and deals with newcomers on occasion, it's common sense they're lost and need some guidance, but trying to get help from a cursed person might be hazardous.] I didn't mean any of that!

[He holds his mouth shut for a time, then, tentatively, opens it to attempt normal conversation.]

Um...look, this place sucks. Makes people do things they don't want to sometimes. You look kinda out of it, though. You need any help [tone change!] in removing your clothes? I could use- [And Setsuna cuts himself off there, face bright red.]

[The contrasting words seem a little off putting, and it is hard to tell which part of the double talk the other really means. But by the look on his face, it seems to be more embarrassed of the words coming out of his mouth, then trying to continue it.

Haji straightens and he shifts on his feet, as if to step away from he other man. The cello case is a welcomed heavy and familiar weight on his back, a weapon for if he needs it in just its size and weight alone.]

Will you be able to answer my questions, like this?

I know this is really confusing! [Setsuna takes a hint and steps back as well. At least he can control his body, if not his words. And at first, he just nods.]

Maybe if you just stick to yes or no, questions?

[chiropteran]

[Confusing doesn't even begin to cover it, man.

He is quiet for a long moment after nodding to indicate he understood. Most of his questions were far more than a simple yes or no, but since he had Setsuna right here, he might as well narrow things down some.]

Was this Red Shield's doing?

[beyourarmy]

...is that another name for the deities? [He can't even shake or nod his head to that one. Karl may have brought Red Shield up once, maybe, but as if Setsuna would ever remember.]

[chiropteran]

[Deities, huh?]

No, it is a human group.

[beyourarmy]

[Big grin.] Then no. Humans can't hold me.

[Run, Haji, run.] But you could. I would totally allow that.

[chiropteran]

[Aaaaakwarrrrd. He takes another step back.]

I think you have helped as much as you can, for now.

[beyourarmy]

[Setsuna pulls back at that, looking completely ashamed. This is so not going well.] But...you don't even know where you are. [And he dares not to say anything else.]

There are some people here who can answer that question for me.

[He can already feel the other Queen and her Chevaliers' here. Haji is not a violent person by nature, but if he has to go beat the answer out of one of them, then he will.]

You're right! And it's probably best you go find someone else before I try to tell you all about how I'm not into guys, but I'll get into them for you.

[Frustrated, Setsuna clamps his mouth shut, then waves good-bye at Haji. Yeah, another time.]
